Being a licensed flight dispatcher and flight operations officer comes with its share of challenges, for sure. One common challenge is dealing with unexpected changes in flight plans or weather conditions, which can throw off schedules and require quick thinking to resolve. To overcome these challenges, I’ve learned to stay calm under pressure and adapt to the situation by prioritizing safety and efficiency. Communication is also key—I make sure to keep everyone involved in the loop and work closely with the flight crew and other team members to find solutions.
