Most MUFC Players Showed A Lack Of Ambition When I Was Manager – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Ex-Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come out to say many young players showed a lack of ambition during his time in charge of the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it was disappointing to see some players refuse to be captain for certain games, and they were not even bold enough to tell him directly, so they sent others to him.

Ole added that many players also said no to doing the pre-match interviews, except Bruno Fernandes, De Gea, Shaw, Maguire and Lindelof.

His words, “No one said: ‘No’ to being the club captain, it was just for certain games – ‘I don’t want to be captain for this match’.
They didn’t want to say it themselves, they had other people come up to me and say it. It was disappointing. It’s a different generation, it’s Gen Z. It’s petty and shows a lack of ambition.
