Kano guber: Supreme Court judgment a lesson – Kwankwaso on Gov Yusuf’s victory

The 2023 New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has appreciated God for the judgment by the Supreme Court regarding the Kano State governorship election.
Kwankwaso said the judgment of the Supreme Court was a lesson to all political actors in the state
He noted that the verdict has restored hope to the people of the state.

DAILY POST reports that the Supreme Court had declared Abba Yusuf as the duly elected Governor of Kano State.
The apex court had upturned the Appeal Court’s sack of Yusuf while dismissing the appeal by the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate Nasiru Gawuna against the governor’s victory in the last election.
However, speaking with BBC Hausa, Kwankwaso said: “We thank God that the Supreme Court has restored the hope of the people.
“The 2023 Kano State gubernatorial election saga is a lesson to all.”
